Mayrin Bunyagidj
First Grade Teacher, Beechwood School
Mayrin Bunyagidj has been an educator for the past 18 years. She is currently a first grade teacher at Beechwood School in Menlo Park, CA. Mayrin received her CLAD teaching credential and Masters of Education at UCSD. She has taught in both public and public schools in Los Angeles, Oakland, San Francisco, and in the Peninsula. Not only has she taught first grade, but Mayrin has also been a STEAM and tech specialist as well as run a Lower School Makerspace. She is passionate about utilizing her multicultural and tech-savvy background to make learning fun. She enjoys being part of a student's learning journey by inspiring and providing life skills and strategies that will help children feel successful moving forward in school.
Daniela Velasquez
Youth Transition Therapist, Acknowledge Alliance
Daniela is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her B.A. in Liberal Studies, Teacher Preparation from San Jose State University. Daniela later went on to earn her M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Correctional Psychology from Santa Clara University. She has experience working with diverse populations, children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Daniela currently works with the youth of the Boys and Girls Club of the Peninsula in Redwood City. She supervises interns and enjoys teaching and training the interns from a psychodynamic approach.
