Carmen Enciso-Steinberg is graduate of UC Berkeley and holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology from John F Kennedy University, she has fifteen years of experience in the Mental Health Field. She worked at Alum Rock Counseling Center in East San Jose and at EMQ Children and Family Services running mentoring programs for at-risk. As an intern with Community Health Awareness Council in Mountain View, she provided counseling at Theuerkauf Elementary School as well as Mountain VIew and Los ALtos High School. She also provide counseling through psychological services department at Foothill Community College. Since she joined Acknowledge Alliance, she has been a Resilience Consultant at Piedmont Middle School and Crittenden Middle School. In addition to her work at Acknowledge, she works part time for the San Mateo County Mental Health in their youth services department. She enjoys cooking and doing art projects with her three daughters and loves to travel, hike, do yoga and attend retreats.
