Louise Paustenbach

Louise is in her tenth year as School Counselor at Sacred Heart Preparatory in Atherton. In addition to working individually with students and families, she oversees the Sources of Strength wellness program in conjunction with Stanford’s Department of Psychiatry. She has also served as a diversity trainer, was a Board member of the Peninsula Bridge Program, and has served as an advocate for youth in several capacities. Her counseling background includes working in a variety of settings including public schools, community colleges, and family services agencies. She received a Masters in Counseling from Santa Clara University.

Prior to her career in counseling , Louise was an artist and graphic designer for industry and design studios in Silicon Valley, Connecticut, and Chicago. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University and her Masters of Fine Arts from Pratt Institute.

Louise was drawn to Acknowledge Alliance because of her passion for providing access to quality mental health services to all people.
