Marta Franca


Marta Franca (She/Her/Hers) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). She has been practicing psychotherapy and counseling services for over fifteen years. She has worked with children, adolescents and parents at public schools, community agencies and private practice settings in the Bay Area. She holds a B.A. in Psychology, and Graduate Studies in Early Childhood Special Education from Portland State University. She earned an M.A. Degree in Counseling Psychology, and Creative Expressions Certification from Sophia University (formerly Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) in Palo Alto. Marta is passionate about working with children, adolescents, and parents. She believes that each person is on his/her own journey and has the innate drive to grow, mature and heal. As a psychotherapist, her role is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space, the appropriate support and guidance to facilitate each person’s unique growth and healing process.
