Ursula Jorgensen, Ma, MFTI

Ursula is excited and honored to be part of the Project Resilience community at Acknowledge Alliance. This will be her third year in a school-based setting and her second year as a Facilitator of Social Emotional Learning lessons for 3rd to 5th grade classrooms. She earned a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with Art Therapy. Growing up, she was inspired by her mother, who was a college professor. Ursula's first career was a preschool teacher and she has over 7 years of experience in education/child development. She is passionate about supporting not only students and their families, but also the school system as a whole. Recently, she was sworn in as a Court Advocate to continue advocating for foster children and families in need. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, baking, photography, movies, music, dancing, creative writing and journaling. She likes food and loves words. She considers herself a “wordy” with a long list of favorite quotes!
