Drawing from personal and professional experiences, Rebecca’s work focuses on supporting families and youth through life transition, grief, and loss. Rebeccais a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Counselor, with a B.A in Psychology (Beijing University), an M.A. in Cognitive Psychology (The University of Chicago) and an M.A. in Counseling (Palo Alto University). Since relocating to the Bay Area in 2005, Rebecca has been actively involved in the community, including serving on the board and program committee of Family Connections since 2011 and volunteering for schools and local nonprofits. Previously, Rebecca worked as an attorney and investment professional in New York, California and internationally for over 15 years after graduating with a J.D. from The University of Chicago Law School. Rebecca is passionate about challenging cultural and socioeconomic barriers to personal growth and fostering resilience in all youth and families. Rebecca joined Acknowledge Alliance in 2018 and currently works as a Transition Program Therapist at Menlo-Atherton High School. Rebecca is also a member of the therapy team at Kara, a grief agency for youth and families in the Bay Area.
