Steve Martinez

As a newly appointed member of the Acknowledge Alliance Board of Directors, Steve brings over 25 years of experience in the financial industry to support the organization’s mission of promoting lifelong resilience in children and youth. Throughout his career at S&P Global Ratings and Bank of America, Steve has developed a strong background in leadership, team management, and strategic planning. Steve’s experience has also taken him to Latin America, where he has had the opportunity to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Although based in New York for over 20 years, Steve is delighted to be part of a California-based nonprofit organization, as he is originally from California and attended college in the Bay Area. He looks forward to leveraging his financial expertise to support Acknowledge Alliance’s continued success and impact. As a mentor and trainer, Steve has a passion for giving back and supporting the development of professionals and students, recognizing the impact one can have on shaping the next generation of leaders.

Steve holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
